Terms of use

• You must be 13 or older.
• If you are 13 to 17, you need a parent's or guardian's permission to use Drafti Ligi and to make purchases, and they are responsible for your use of it. Players under 18 can chat with preset phrases only.
• One account per person, on a mobile number you control. Don't create accounts for others or use someone else's.

• You sign in with your phone number and a one-time code we text you. Never share a sign-in code. We will never ask you for one.
• You are responsible for what happens on your account, so keep your phone and SIM safe. If you lose your phone or think someone else is using your account, write to support@codeblock.co.tz straight away.
• To move your account to a new number, contact us; we may ask for proof that the account is yours.

Win with your own head. You must not:

• use an engine, a bot, another person or any outside help while you play a rated, league or tournament game;
• hold more than one account, or lose on purpose, to move ratings, standings or results (including "sandbagging" and arranged results);
• coach a player during a game, for example from a spectator's seat or another chat;
• use modified apps, scripts or automated clients, or exploit bugs (please report them instead);
• abuse disconnects or the clock to avoid losing.

We use automated checks and human review. If we find cheating we may void results, adjust ratings, remove titles, badges and champion items, and suspend or ban accounts.

Chat is for everyone, so be respectful. No harassment, bullying, hate speech, threats, sexual content, spam, scams or advertising, no sharing anyone's personal details (phone numbers and links are blocked), and no pretending to be Drafti Ligi staff.

There is no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users: by using Drafti Ligi you agree not to post such content or abuse other players.

We filter chat automatically and act on reports. We may hide messages, mute you in one room or everywhere, or suspend your account. You can report and block other players at any time.

Drafti Ligi has two virtual currencies: coins, which you earn by playing, and gems, which you can buy. You can use them for virtual items such as boards, pieces and arenas.

• No cash value. Coins, gems and items have no monetary value. They can't be exchanged for money, withdrawn, sold, traded, transferred to another account or redeemed for real goods. Gems are not a deposit or electronic money.
• A licence, not ownership. When you get coins, gems or an item, we give you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use them in Drafti Ligi. You don't own them.
• Purchases. In-app purchases go through the App Store or Google Play; web top-ups are paid through ClickPesa. Prices are shown before you pay. Once gems are delivered, the purchase is complete.
• Refunds. In-app purchases are refunded under Apple's or Google's rules: ask them. For web top-ups, contact us if your payment went through but the gems didn't arrive, or you were charged twice, and we will deliver the gems or refund you. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under Tanzanian consumer protection law.
• Reversed payments. If a payment is refunded or reversed, we remove the gems it bought. Your balance may go below zero, and the store is blocked until it is back to zero or more.
• Changes. We may change prices, the catalogue and how coins are earned. Some items are for a limited time. If we ever close Drafti Ligi, we will give at least 30 days' notice in the app.
• If your account is deleted, or terminated for breaking these terms, its coins, gems and items are lost, except where the law requires otherwise.

Drafti Ligi is a game of skill played for recognition only. Every league and tournament is free to enter, and nobody stakes anything.

• We award no prizes of money or money's worth. Winners receive titles, places on leaderboards and in the hall of fame, and earned-only badges and champion items, which have no monetary value and can't be sold or transferred.
• No gambling. You must not bet, or arrange bets, on Drafti Ligi games or results, on or off the platform. Accounts involved in betting will be banned.
• We do not accept betting or lottery sponsors.

Some leagues, tournaments, items and banners carry a sponsor's name and branding, and a sponsored competition uses the sponsor's board for every game (you keep your own pieces). Sponsors buy visibility only: they do not change the rules or the results, and they receive only aggregate reports, never your personal data. Sponsors are responsible for their own content and offers.

The Mashabiki collection holds original skins inspired by fan culture and the colours of the stands. These are fan-inspired designs, not affiliated with or endorsed by any club. They use no club names, crests or trade marks. Arenas are named after places and are not affiliated with any club or venue. Any club names and marks belong to their owners.

You keep the rights you have in your display name and chat messages. You give Codeblock a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, show, copy and share them within Drafti Ligi and in promoting it (for example a chat line in a replay, or a clip of a final), for as long as needed for those purposes. Your games and moves can be shown publicly, replayed and used in statistics. You are responsible for what you post.

The app, the website, the art, skins and software, and the Drafti Ligi name belong to Codeblock or its licensors. Don't copy, sell, reverse-engineer or scrape them, or build unofficial clients, except as the law allows.

We keep improving Drafti Ligi, so features may change or be removed. You need an internet connection to play online. We may pause the service for maintenance, and we can't promise it will always be available or free of errors.

You can stop using Drafti Ligi at any time and delete your account in the app or at drafti.co.tz/account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, commits fraud, puts other players at risk or where the law requires, without notice in serious cases. If you think we got it wrong, write to support@codeblock.co.tz and we will review it.

As far as the law allows, Drafti Ligi is provided "as is" and "as available", without promises that it will meet every need or always work without interruption. Ratings and standings may be corrected when we find an error or cheating.

As far as Tanzanian law allows, Codeblock is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits or opportunities, or the loss of virtual items, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that the law does not allow us to exclude, such as for fraud, for death or injury caused by negligence, or your rights as a consumer.

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania. If you have a complaint, please contact us first: most problems are solved quickly that way. Any dispute we can't settle goes to the competent courts of the United Republic of Tanzania.

We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top and, for important changes, tell you in the app before they take effect. If you keep using Drafti Ligi after that, the new terms apply; if you don't agree, you can delete your account.
